Wind tunnel tests at TsAGI

Events   25th September, 2017

TsAGI, one of the AFLoNext partners, started a series of experiments together with their European colleagues.

Specialists of the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute named after Professor N.E. Zhukovsky (TsAGI, a member of the National Research Center “Institute named after N.E. Zhukovsky”) are collaborating with delegations of the partner entities Airbus, DLR, Fraunhofer and NLR.

Studies of flow control techniques on a wing section of a civil aircraft in landing conditions take place in the largest TsAGI wind tunnel. To control the flow, the scientists use actuators based on two different the pulsed jet approaches.
