The 6th EASN International Conference on Innovation in European Aeronautics Research took place on 18-21 October in Porto, Portugal.
The AFLoNext project and its results were promoted through the following presentations:
The EASN Conference 2016 included 11 thematic workshops and 28 technical sessions during which 216 speakers from 29 countries presented the latest advancements, research and innovation activities in aeronautics and air transport. - "Demonstration of Hybrid Laminar Flow Control in European projects - Clean Sky 2 and AFLoNext" by J. Medina-Gonzalez (Airbus Operations SL) performed in the framework of the session "Design Challenge for Future Passenger Aircraft" chaired by Markus Fischer (Airbus Operations GmbH).
- "Optimization and testing of fluidic actuators for active flow control at the engine/wing junction” by P. Schloesser, M. Meyer (Airbus Defence and Space GmbH), M. Schueller, P. Weigel, (Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nanosystems), M. Bauer (NAVASTO GmbH).
