We have the pleasure to inform that AFLoNext has been awarded with the CEAS Technical Award 2020 for outstanding contributions to the advancement of aerospace technology in Europe.

This CEAS award recognizes the technical results achieved within AFLoNext. These results are the foundation of many ongoing European research projects which will secure the competitiveness of European aviation.

The award ceremony will take place during the ILA Berlin. It is scheduled for the 14^th of May starting at 12:00 in the DGLR Chalet, which will be located inside the DLR Chalet at the ILA Berlin premises.

The CEAS award complements the ICAS von Kármán Award for International Cooperation in Aeronautics. The von Kármán Award gives the AFLoNext consortium an impressive acknowledgement of excellent results achieved by all the project partners.

The award ceremony will take place at the ICAS 2020 conference in Shanghai on the 17th of September 2020.
